The Sixth annual Ides of June is in the books. It wasn't the fishiest day on record, but not bad overall. First timers "Island Time" won the tournament with a 20 lb dolphin. The "Island Time" team of Captain Joe Roth, Sean Leen and Mike Rogers were on a 23 ft Sea Fox. "Island Time" was about 13 miles off Palm Beach when Sean hooked into the 20 pounder trolling ballyhoo.

Second place went to the "Reel Out" team, with Captain Paul Daly, Chip Phillips, John Daly and Louis Pino who weighed 19 pounds of kingfish. Most of their fish were caught in about 150 ft on the troll off of Deerfield.

Third place went to "The Deuce" team of Captain Joe Chaison and Jenny Mann who weighed a 16 pound king. Joe also caught a 15 lb mutton snapper and Jenny boated her first sailfish. There were two other sailfish caught and released by tournament fishers on Saturday.

The rain held off until late in the afternoon when the storms rolled in. Most of the rafters had gone already or were leaving. It did not however scare off the "Bad Habit" who won the 03 Raft Up party for their duration, best bathing suits and some nudity from her Captain. Congrats to the "Bad Habit", they did not have any fish in the box, but won the Raft Up as promised. Honorable mention to "Nassau Dave" and "Stratacaster".
